UPDATED: DEC 12, 2014 Bouteille partagée avec Charles au Gainsbourg. Bouteille en IP. Couleur jaune paille, mousse blanche.

Bottle. Pours with a huge white head, continuously bubbling. Zesty citrus lemon-like nose. Cloudy, deep yellow color. Crackery, pils malt flavor. Moderate citrus and pepper in the flavor, with a drying finish. Don’t get much hops or spelt, really. ok.

Poured a hazy yellow from the bottle with aromas of funk, hay, citrus and some light spice. Flavors follow suit with some nice light barnyard in the aftertaste.

Poured into a tall tulip glass. Lots of thick white head with big bubbles on top and smaller ones underneath that stick around. It has a light golden color that is very hazy. Lots of floaties. Scents of tartness, yeast sweetness Very fizzy on the tongue with a decent amount of bitterness. I get hints of hay and licorice. Very good all around saison.

On draft at Mikkeller SF. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a white head. Citrus, grass, some funk, yeast. Saison with a hop kick to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle... Hazy yellow pour with a large frothy white head. Diminishes to a small, tight cap that lasts throughout. The aroma is spicy and herbal with a smattering of cereal grains. Light-bodied with lively and airy carbonation. The flavor is loaded with phenolic spiciness and herbal notes. Stereotypical saison for the most part, but the bitterness in this one does stand out. Finishes bitter and dry. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

Pours a pale golden color with three plus fingers of tiny bubbled tight white foam. The nose is classic saison love... rustic grain, clay, peppered esters, fresh grass, straw, citrus rind. The palate follows the nose nicely with a nice complex grain bill that is focused and accented nicely by the yeast and light earthy hop bitterness. Crisp clean and refreshing, everything I want when Im chugging some farmhouse suds.
