Pours a really nice golden with a big white head that needs some effort to tame. Aroma is really nice with yeast derived components, spices and yellow fruits mostly, some nice malty notes (grains, light syrup) and the tinyest bit of hops. Taste is nicely dry with only the tinyest amount of sweetness and a much appreciated bitterness. Flavors are malty, spicy and all around rustic. Mouthfeel is nice with a higher level of carbonation. A great one by Blaugies and HFS!

Mouthfeel is dry, slightly crisp, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and floral with crackers, hay, dry soil, pine needles, citrus zest, unripe tropical fruits, resin and barnyard. Soild stuff!

Bottle (750 ml). Slightly hazy with a huge foamy white head and good lacing. Aroma is interesting with floral and herbal notes, nice farmhouse presence, light skunk and just the right amount of Amarillo hops. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with yeast, floral notes, spices, grains and citrus. Medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly dry. Very good Saison with just the right amount of hop which give this one a very interesting turn. Really thirst quenching! Superb balance! If it was not of the skunky notes (damn green bottle), it would have been a 4+.

(on tap at Zythos) Cloudy yellow with a big and lasting white head. The aroma has citrus, and complex herb and spice. Dry and refreshing citrus and spice flavour with a very hoppy finish. Classic Belgian saison identity with American hops, not an American saison.

pours hazy with some particles (have been careful with handling and pouring), pale yellow with a tall frothy white head, excellent retention and lacing. soft but bright greenness and citrus, very yeasty and earthy, light skunky notes, grainy rustic, grass, herbs, pepper, some sweetness balanced by amarillo buckets. bright to average carbonation, light to medium body, very nice floral-grassy-herbal-citrusy finish. very nice offering aside the green bottle..

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with a white head of foam. Aroma is herbal, yeasty, and floral. Tastes flowery and dry. Very light on the palate. Too flowery for my preference.
