Dimmig ljusgul öl med ett småbubbligt vitt skum. Doften är mycket baserad på jästen med kryddighet och lätt funkighet. Även örtighet och lätta banantoner. I smaken tillkommer viss maltighet. Torr munkänsla.

Pale, cloudy yellow color with out of control head and messy lacing. Aroma and flavor have dirty socks, mud, and barnyard, with faint citrus notes. Very bready and yeasty.

Pale yellow, very bubbly, with a loose white head. Smells rich and toasty, some grassy peppery notes, Also, It has a slight skunky aroma. I’ve read that some skunky notes is actually a desirable trait in classic saison styles, but I’m not sure I dig it. Taste is peppery, yeasty, and very dry. I get some woody, winey notes, too. Tasty.

Hazy light gold and a thin bubbly white head. Big funky nose of pistachio and cedar and huge funky funk. Flavor is belgianish with yeasty bready malt, transitioning to some earthy mellow funk and a little pistachio from the nose. Not super my thing.

Bottle from HappyHoppy - Color: hazy blond beer with medium carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: nice farmhouse nose. Really nice fruity taste. Good malt balance on nose. Taste: good malt balance with small sour notes. Really fruity beer. Very nice beer. Astringent finish. Aftertaste: astringent, fruity and sour notes. Really nice beer a must to try, I recommend it. Easy drinkable if you like sour taste.

Originally reviewed on 4/1/2013. 750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Clear yellow body with an ample white head. Lots of foam on the surface. Swirls around without dissipating. Extremely spicy. Lots of pale malt. Some yeastiness, but dominated by spice. Taste of pale malt is very strong. Lots of spice here as well. Hoppier and a little bit bitter. Vegetal bitterness. High carbonation. Medium body, very malty. Dominated by spice and not a lot else. It’s a quality beer, but way too spicy and malty.
