UPDATED: JUN 27, 2015 The beer pours a hazy golden color with a large white head. The aroma blends Belgian yeast, lemon zest, white pepper, and citrus hops, and the taste is slightly sweet and a touch sour with a very light flavor overall. The palate fuses a slick texture, light body, and a lively carbonation.

750 ml bottle. Pours a pale hazed golden with a big, fluffy white head. Aroma of hay, clove, yeast, and amarillo hop notes. Flavor is citrusy and sweet, mild bread and earth notes. Yeast, fruit, medium spice notes. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes fruity. A near perfect saison.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about a couple inch foamy white head that stayed around for a very long time. There’s also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like hay, grass, citrus peel, peppery spice, funk and a bit of clove. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also some pear, grainy malt, and some mineral flavors noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s well carbonated, but the soft carbonation makes it easy and enjoyable to drink. Glad I got to try this one, I wouldn’t mind buying this again in the future. $12.49 a bottle.

Pours light yellow, almost greenish with big white good lacing head. Hazy appearance. Bread and hay with light malts, lovely grass, citrus and floral hops, leather, barnyard and earth on yeast. Medium sweet and bitter, bit of sour notes, good balanced finish. Body is medium, watery texture, average carbonation. Quite nice.

Outstanding beer. Superb aroma of dope, citrus. Made my head spin thinking someone had 2oz of the finest bud near by, but in fact it was the beer. Light, dry and refreshing - do not open one to share, as you’ll just drink it all. I hope this beer comes to be around for a long while. (there are few low number reviews below, looks like you had a duff bottle, since I have had more the 12 bottles of this, and none have been in that way infected)

750mL bottle, best before 2018. Another truely delectable saison from Hill Farmstead, in collaboration with Blaugies. Snow white head over a light yellow body. Aromas of cirrus, spices, powdery stone fruits. In the mouth, big farmhouse character, with several layers of flavours. Quite a rare complexity! I pick out some fruits, followed by a flow of straw, wet barn, to finish with a refreshing hoppy bitterness. What a beer!

Very murky dark orange. Aroma is moderately phenolic, flavour is horrible. Infection?

Bottle shared. Pours cloudy yellow light brown with a small off white head. Aroma seems off, medicinal, elastaplast over peppery saison yeast and citrus. This surely must be a bad bottle. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
