750ml bottle pours a golden color with a lot of frothy head. Crisp in flavor yet very mild. Slight bitterness at the end.

Bottle shared among friends. Pours hazy golden with a large off-white head that dissipates slowly with good lacing on the glass. Aroma is peppery, both black and green, herbal, sage, grassy, honey. Flavor is light sweet with some orange-zesty bitterness, but not much. Tons of spelt. Just kidding. I don’t know what the fuck spelt tastes like. Light body and high, almost too high, carbonation. Good, not great.

@ZBF. shared this sample with Smalle. nose was filthy, taste was dominated with burned plastic. took this beer hostage. did feel off to me.

Bottle; Pour is murky light golden - with a whispy, large white head into this glass - it retains well, with some chunk present and sticky lacing as well. This one is heavy on the lemongrass, lighter on the cereal, with a touch of floral. The favor profile is bright initial ,moving to more lemon grass, light soap presence, with a refreshing yet light feeling - the center , moving to the finish dimishes a little - but its a nice drinker with a light bittering finish.

Bottle from BierCab, Barcelona. Hazy golden underneath an enormous white foam. Farmyard and intense lemony nose, on closer inspection also spices and wood. Lemony, woody, spicy, sour dry flavours. A great creation.

Jesterdeal (1814) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - APR 18, 2014
Bottle shared at the 5k/7k/11k. Aroma of barnyard funk, duct tape, pepper, and lemon peel. Pours hazy blonde with good chunks and a nice big fizzy head. Taste is lemon peel, clove, pepper, and wheat. Great tart mouthfeel and a grainy peppery funk. Very dry and very complex.

Pours light orange with a decent head. Aroma of bubble gum, big belgian yeast, some brett, grassy, a bit of citrus. Taste is peppery with a bit of soapy finish, a lot of citrus but also brett-like character with a lot of earthiness and belgian yeast input, mostly bubblegum. Mouthfeel is light and very dry.

Thebullshornbar (72) - Florida, USA - APR 10, 2014
This is a beer that shows itself through an aggressive subltness. The nose is yeasty with notes of lime zest, coriander and black pepper. The spritziness of the body carries the dry and lightly tart palate. Quite refreshing and delicious.

(Backlog ZBF 2013, ZO 28). żBottle? One of the day’s more simply standout brews in the still understated undercategory of US-dryhopped BE saisons (cf. Jandrain, De la Senne). Spelt-dry hayish malts lay a fine, yeast-chalky base for the Amarillo citrus rinds to liven and freshen up. Subtle balance between exotic bitterness and the majestic dust of the terroir. Hinting at my ideal sessioning beer. More saisons like this with broader distribution please, quick.
