Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of aspirin, straw, yeast and cereal. Flavour of grass, cloudy cider, coriander and light acidity. Thin to medium body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Lively fizz. Not very complex but it’s rustic and easy drinking.

Bottle. Pours golden with a massive, pillowy white head. Funky as hell on the nose. I could smell it as soon as I opened it. Very soft on the tongue. Not as funky on the tongue as it is on the nose but it’s still plenty flavorful. Pretty good example of the style.

zinneke (196) - Brussels, BELGIUM - APR 4, 2016
Love this beer, allthough the batches differ a lot, one batch is over carbonated, the next one has too much of a soap taste. Nevertheless, this is for me one of Belgiums best saisons. Less on the yeast profile, but a lot of cereal grain and herbal grassy citrussy hop notes. Quite bitter, and highly carbonated.
