Lukaduke (2185) - Portland, Maine, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Pours a crimson mahogany color with a three fingers fizzy eggshell foam. The nose is rustic toasted grain, herbal yeast esters, rotten wood. The palate follows with a round buckwheat honey backbone that sets a nice platform for more of the herbal rustic yeast profile... rye, anise, nutmeg even a hint of mint. Nice carbonation keeps the mouthfeel clean and refreshing but a nice sweetness lingers with a touch of bitterness.

Pours a medium orange-amber with a tan head and lacing. It has an aroma of dark fruit and hints of spices like cinnamon and coriander. The flavor is malt with apple, pear, and some plum up front with a slightly spicy middle and sweet finish over a light-medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of Benzai, @ Dean sticky floor tasting. Hazy amber pour, big of white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and other Belgian influences. Quite sour on the taste, easy drinkable, low mouthfeel. Not much special.
