3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors and served in a Blaugies Moneuse tulip.
Pours a deep golden or light copper color with a thin off-white head. Not much retention or lacing. A bit of a collar throughout. The nose brings a bit of bready malt along with some spicing. Light fruit notes as well. Flavor has fruit and a bit of spice plus some light alcohol. Medium body with good carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Decent enough, but nothing too special.

Tap at Churchkey. Pours a clear deep orange amber with a decent tab head. Spots of lace. Greg melon nose. Fresh and pretty neutral. Taste is tannic and astringent and overtly bland. Chalky and papery. Not a fan. Air freshener feel. Watery palate. Pretty generic. Overall fairly tart. Taste like sharply carbonated lemonade.

(750ml bottle at the Az Trappiste Christmas party) Pours cloudy orange, yeklow with off-white head. Smell is musty, dusty like an attic. Taste is sweet and....this has to be old and stored improperly. Medium bodied with dry finish. Meh. Will need to re-rate.
