750ml bottle. Pours a medium straw, with a white head. Spicy aroma, malt, straw, yeast, hops, citrus, slightly phenolic. Dry, medium body and bitterness, lively CO2. Spicy taste, malt, yeast, citrus, straw, quite well balanced. (2012-04-12)

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was funky and musty with a faint barnyard presence. The flavor was very dry, funky, musty and odd with a herbal presence and notes of egg white, barnyard and a touch of citrus. Medium length tangy, citric and musty finish. Medium body. Eh.

Martinus (1878) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2012
Light hazy, yellow colour, firm white head. Aroma of banana, malts, yeast, spelt, some light barnyard aromas. Fresh, light bitter hoppy flavour, light sour, overall quite light. Short, light bitter finish.
Nice, well made, but seems to lack some body.

MarcoE (11) - NETHERLANDS - APR 22, 2012
Goudblond en ruim in het schuim. Hooiachtige geur, wat citrus en gist. Prettig muffig.

A golden cloudy beer with a crisp bubbly white head. The taste is crisp and clean with no linger. The flavors are on the front of the palate, but it seems hollow in a sense. Right when you expect to gets malts, instead it has really light wheat flavors and then its gone. Interesting.

In bottle at home. A cloudy beer with a decent white head. Aroma of lemon, candy sugar, yeast and spelt. Spelt flavour is quite prominent with chewy caramel, lemon rind and marmalade. Moderate carbonation. Quite different.
