Palme (3606) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 26, 2014
0.33l bottle from lot #1357. This is a deep blurry looking one, almost a little bronze in color but no head worth mentioning. Smells horrible yeasty. Cardboard, sun damaged and pretty much everything about this aroma is horrible to be honest. It’s not to tasty either. Drinkable but not something I will by any means finish. Hardly any carbonation left here and it’s thin and almost slimy in the mouth. Something’s gone terribly wrong here! Not a good one at all. Based on the other’s ratings this has to be a bad bottle. 12.08.2014

330 mml bottle tasted the 29/09/2014. Haxzy dark colour with medium off-white head. Some head retention on the sides. Aroma of caramel, malts and yeasts. The taste is similar with caramel, malts, yeasts and bread. Some bitter aftertaste and a little spicy at the end. Not well balanced. Next one please!

IPA bien carbonatada, oscura y intensa. Fuera de la mayoría de las de su estilo. El dátil añadido le proporciona un sabor astringente muy agradable. IPA well carbonated, dark and intense. Out of most of his style. The added date gives you a nice astringent taste.

330ml bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. Pours hazy dark gold- amber, with off white head. Some head retention, little lacing.Malty, caramel, yeasty and spicy aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, some oily texture. Taste is malty, caramel, alcohol noticeable, some harsh notes due to green beer, and spicy ones. Some resin bitternes. Not terribly impressive. Poured nicely but taste is all over the place. More scratchy than bitter and the malted sweetness does little to make this more than a light brown ale. It’s drinkable, just not recommendable.
