not sure what the deal is with a lot of the microbrews down here. There’s a common, sulphur/chlorine/bacterial contamination flavor. Not all of them, but many. It does remind me of problems I had homebrewing and of some american brews that had bacterial problems. However, there are some qualities to some of these that lead me to think that it’s not bacteria as the beers arent ruined in some cases and it isn’t every beer from the brewer. Some dont have it at all and others have it to varying degrees.

Bottled brought from Argentina. I think that I got a bad one. Like all others in serie that my mom brought to me. No comments..
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheGrandMaster (2313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 8, 2007
Draught at the brewpub, a hazy bright yellow gold with a thick foamy head. A lemony citrus hop aroma. A very clean hoppy palate, not too bitter and not too crisp. Lemon again in the flavour with grainy malt characaters.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 5, 2007
Bottled, thanks Fukito! Pale golden, rich head. Grassy, buttery nose. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Solidly malty, yet with soft mouthfeel. Lightly buttery and fairly hoppy, finishes with good bitterness. A well made rounded hoppy lager beer.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 William (202) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2007
Drank this one at Cerveceria Blest in Bariloche. Apart from this being an awesome location, the beer is excellent. It is called Rubia overthere and is one of the better pilseners I know. Rather bitter but very pleasing.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Jokes (1453) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2007
Hazy golden body with a thin, diminishing white head. Some mild Saaz hop aroma with nice earthy bitterness and plenty of biscuity malt to provide sweetness. Light tropical fruit as well. Some bandaid type aromas that definitely seems off, but luckily it’s not too strong. The body is light and crisp on the tongue, relatively satisfying. The flavor is mostly sweet with the malt and fruitiness really coming out. The hops are evident, but not too strong and certainly don’t provide enough bitterness for the style. OK, and not exactly good.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 9, 2006
Blonde pils with a thin lacing white head. Light caramel aroma, with berry notes. Nice crisp malt in mouth, smooth, lightly hopped. Not bad and very fresh. On tap, May 2006.

On draught at Pilgrim Bar. A hazy straw color with slight head and noticable diacetyl aroma and flavor. Light/medium body with slight early hop bitterness, mellow light malt flavor and citrusy character. Could be a victim of poor handling in distribution. A "pilsner"?
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fukito (611) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUL 23, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2006 Bottle - July 2005
Pours lively golden with a not so-long lasting white head. The colour is beatifull, although not "cristal clear" enough for a pilsner. Aroma is dry and malty, right online with the style. Taste is bitter, but somewhat sweet, gentle, pleasant. I don´t know why the other ratings where so low, i really like pilsners and i found this one to be smooth. I could sense some slightly sulphur, but not enough to say "rotten egs"

A strange liquid. Bad named like a Pilsen style . Brewed from the wrong hop for a pilsen (Cascade!!!.) Very fruity, cloudy smell bad (rotten eggs). Another waste of time in Argentina Breweries. I dont try the others styles
