On tap at Blind Lady. Beautiful lacy head with a nice hearty, cloudy gold color. Smells like it should, ginger, corriander, with some mellow wood. Taste the ginger, corriander, oak, some clove or cinnimon. Great body, refreshing but not boring. Great first effort. Looking forward to more!

Tap at Blind Lady, happy to finally have this. I’ve had versions of this beer as part of Lee’s homebrew for a few years, but its nice that it has a home and a name. Pours golden cloudy with a 1 finger bright white head. Nose is sweet, and rich with clear notes of coriander and oak. The taste is slightly sweet, mostly spicy, with lots of corriander and ginger and a nice oak presence. The beer is both refreshing and prickly on the palate. It stays with you for a while after you’ve had but in a good way. Keep it up Lee!

Pours a crazy opaque geenish yellow with bright white lacey head. Nose punches you with bright and amazingly vivid ginger fumes with notes of coriander and wheat and maybe even cinnamon. Clean and bright flavors concentrating on the ginger and coriander. Surprising full in body with not much of a gap in flavors. Not my favorite style but expertly crafted and as fresh and clean tasting as a beer can taste. Certainly enjoyable on a hot saturday afternoon like this.

Light yellow with a fluffy white. Citrus and corriander aroma and taste with a good bready taste and a very crisp finish. A damn good witbier.

On tap at Blind Lady. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Sweet and spicy aroma, of citrus and coriander. Taste starts sweet then gets more spicy, with citrus, malt, yeast, and a lot of ginger at the end. Lingering spice. Very nice.

A very pleasant Belgian ale. Fairly light in color, but a very full complex flavor profile. Interesting spicy aroma with the assumed Belgian yeasty notes in the beer. Sampled at 2009 LA Craft Beer Fest.

Batch #1. Pours with a cloudy yellow body topped by a medium thick to thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and full of coriander and ginger with a nice bitterness. Light to medium bodied, tingly and dry.

tap at blind lady, pretty cool looking color, blond and cloudy, reminded me of lil or horney devil because of the corriander, didn’t notice the ginger much. was well made and nice transitions. not a big brew and built for their food it seemed. plus they have their own blind lady glasses that are awesome.

Sampler at the Toronado SD. Pours with a a hazed pale yellow body and a small white head. Aroma of oak, hay, dough, lemon peel, apricot and spices. Taste is sweet with a nice grainy profile, dry fruits and light wood tannins. Somewhat of a witbier spice presence. Lively carbonation and a dry mouthfeel.

On tap at the brewpub. Lighting wasn’t great but it poured a dullish gold color that was somewhat cloudy. Aroma of coriander/spice, ginger, what, earth and wood. Flavor had alot of those elements and was generally well done. A bit too much ginger flavor for my looking, but it hopefully foreshadows good things to come.
