On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy light brown with a thick white head. Aroma of pale, bready malts and floral hops. Flavor is light, fruity, malty, with some bitterness and grassy hops in the finish. Great bitter and it’s so drinkable. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

On tap at the Blind Pig Brewpub. Quite a light and easy drinking beer, yet still flavorful. I like what they did with this one. Poured hazy and amber-orange in color with a fingers width of starch white head. The mild aroma consists of grassy grains, herbs, caramel malt, and light buttery cookies. I didn’t really get any fruity notes on either the aroma or flavor. Anyway, for such a low abv, one would expect a watery feel, but thats really not the case here. Actually quite quenching and nicely bitter with some decent flavor. Toasted caramel and buttery/grainy cookies up front, with grassy herb and light citrus following. Finish is bitter and dry. Nothing too crazy here, but its hard not to be impressed given how light this beer was.
