When you brew in the wheat state, you’d better have a damn good wheat beer. This award winning American style wheat beer delivers. Our straw gold beauty is dripping with sunshine. The floral hop aroma is reminiscent of a wildflower laden prairie meadow. The bready malt character brings visions of amber waves of grain. She finishes crisp and clean, then leaves you with a broken heart.

Sampler on tap at Blind Tiger in Topeka. Pours a golden color with white head. Similar to Raw Wheat, but I enjoy Raw Wheat more.

Pours hazy pale yellow with white head. Soft aroma of musty wheat grain. Rough wheat malt taste with a decent sweetness and a mild lightly spiced grainy finish. Not great, slightly better than most American macro brews.

Pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium creamy white head. Aroma of lemon, wheat and other cereal grains. Flavor of lemon, some cereal grain. Really dry although to the point of being watery. Claims a higher hop profile, but not high enough!

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Pours a clear light yellow appearance with a white head. Somewhat herbal, fairly dry wheat malty, vanilla aroma. Easy drinking, slightly grainy, light lemon, sweet malty flavor. Decent wheat.

Draft at Blind Tiger. Pours a golden body with a white head. Wheat, citrus, hay soft sweet lemonade like finish, great way to nurse a hangover.

Medium oily-looking amber-gold, smallish lasting head...grainy, lightly sour nose with hints of fruit...refreshing tart, crisp flavor profile, hints of toasty malt underneath and a touch of smokiness late...light-moderate body, tiny swirls of tart apple in nose and flavor as it warms...not bad at all

On tap at the brewpub in August 2009. Reviewed from notes. Pours a very lift straw color with minimal head and no much lacig. Nose brngs grain tannins and hints of diacetyl. Taste brings a bunch of buttered popcorn and hints of dry grain. Feel is light with a good amount of carbonation. Drinkability is quite poor. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 10-15-2010

Sampled at the 7th Annual Parkville Microbrew Festival on April 24th, 2010. Good beer, but lost in the crowd here. The flavor has a medium wheat and grain character that is mildly sweet and biscuit-like. Very pleasant and competent. Easily a session beer and a backbone recipe for various fruit-flavored permutations.
