Named for the distinguished joke telling
Gentleman standing at the end of the bar. Our “regular” has been with us from the get go and we are proud to be his” Local”. As a worldly fellow, he has quaffed many a pint of London Bitter and knows a good one when he tastes it. Brewed with Halcyon malt and a touch of English Crystal malt for a caramel like flavor and a bit of color. We chose Goldings hops for their soft floral nose.

Tap at brewpub. Pours a clear copper-gold with a smallish white head that leaves a little lacing. Nose is malt/grain, herbal hops. Taste is biscuity malt, noble hops, a hint of peach. Crisp and refreshing on the palate. A little Pilsner-like. Finish is slightly sweet and a touch bitter. Pretty good.
