Sampler at the brewpub. Comes a cloudy pale yellow with an average white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Taste is similar. Too much citrus for me. Probably pretty good on a hot day.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Thorpe429 (3562) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - NOV 27, 2010
On tap at the brewpub in Topeka in mid-August 2009.
A: Typical of the style. This was a fairly hazy yellow-grain color with minimal white head and some lacing as the beer went down. Much cloudier than the filtered version we tried as well.
S: Obvious wheat malt that was fairly clean, although there was a bit of chemical-type sweetness, although diacetyl was fairly minimal in this brew compared with many of the other lighter beers we had here.
T: This one had minimal amounts of the buttery diacetyl taste, while many of the others we sampled had quite a bit. That flavor was a bit underneath, as the predominant flavor was a slightly-sweetened raw wheat flavor, which was actually fairly refreshing.
M: Light and crisp with a moderate amount of carbonation. No alcohol presence.
D: Pretty drinkable, as the style often is. However, the flavor profile was fairly bland compared to top examples of the style, and trace amounts of diacetyl kept this one from being all that drinkable.

Wheat and pepper, yeast and a slight citrus note. Appearance: Medium gold in color and cloudy. White head was huge and foamy with good retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: Light and grainy malt, peppery spiciness, some mild lemon flavor and yeast. The wheat sourness in this beer just overpowers everything else. A slight medicinal flavor in the finish. Palate: Medium-light bodied and watery. Medium-high carbonation. Overall: Not a terrible beer, but one I’ll never seek out again. Flavors were muddled and the sourness was just weird.

I love blind tiger, both of them. Pours a hazy opaque golden bronze body with a white head. Wheat, grain husk, light lemon peel i think the lemon actually dripped into my ale (i love lemon). Light husky wheat finish. Nice.

Taster on tap at the brewpub. Pour is a cloudy hazy yellow white. Nice white head. Aroma of wheat and some chemical sweetness. Taste is wheat initially, and then a shot of chemically sweet butter (diacetyl, likely). Probably decent wheat when clean, though as I had it, it was pretty rank.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 tjthresh (1840) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - JAN 19, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Pours murky yellow and served with no head. Very light herbal and grassy aromas. A light bit of wheat dust. Seems somebody need to clean the draught lines here. I’m getting raspberries like I did in the amber. Medium body. Average carbonation. Sweet finish. This got more difficult to drink as it warmed.
