Pours a hazy golden with a smaller white head. Aroma of lemon and cereal grains. Flavor of the same. A bit more body and not as watery as the county seat.

With boulevard brewery only a hour away and all the boulevard beer you can drink in every liqour store in my home town, you wont find me rushig to blind tiger to drink the raw wheat. Now im not saying its a bad beer. I enjoy it after a heavy dinner (by the way the food is great) its a very light pale color and has a very light wheat taste. Its more of a beginners beer or someone who enjoys bud light (yuck) should try this. They have better beers to offer at blind tiger, but still one to try.

Pours so light pale yellow it almost has no color. Very little light sweet musty wheat smell. The taste is mostly grainy with a refined light wheat flavor. Tastes better than it looks. Very easy to drink as it is mostly water.

Sampler at the brewpub. Comes a cloudy pale yellow with an average white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Taste is similar. Too much citrus for me. Probably pretty good on a hot day.

On tap at the brewpub in Topeka in mid-August 2009. A: Typical of the style. This was a fairly hazy yellow-grain color with minimal white head and some lacing as the beer went down. Much cloudier than the filtered version we tried as well. S: Obvious wheat malt that was fairly clean, although there was a bit of chemical-type sweetness, although diacetyl was fairly minimal in this brew compared with many of the other lighter beers we had here. T: This one had minimal amounts of the buttery diacetyl taste, while many of the others we sampled had quite a bit. That flavor was a bit underneath, as the predominant flavor was a slightly-sweetened raw wheat flavor, which was actually fairly refreshing. M: Light and crisp with a moderate amount of carbonation. No alcohol presence. D: Pretty drinkable, as the style often is. However, the flavor profile was fairly bland compared to top examples of the style, and trace amounts of diacetyl kept this one from being all that drinkable.
