theisti (1166), Leawood, Kansas, USA Sep 2, 2008 Taster on tap at the brewpub. Pour is a cloudy hazy yellow white. Nice white head. Aroma of wheat and some chemical sweetness. Taste is wheat initially, and then a shot of chemically sweet butter (diacetyl, likely). Probably decent wheat when clean, though as I had it, it was pretty rank.
tjthresh (1348), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Jan 19, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours murky yellow and served with no head. Very light herbal and grassy aromas. A light bit of wheat dust. Seems somebody need to clean the draught lines here. I’m getting raspberries like I did in the amber. Medium body. Average carbonation. Sweet finish. This got more difficult to drink as it warmed. Gregis (937), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Sep 5, 2007 Pours the color of cloudy lemonade. While fairly muted, the nose features notes of citrus, sugar and wheat. Light to medium-bodied and slick with a mildly dry finish. There is wheat in the background on this one, but the citrus is cranked up to an almost acidic level. I tend to like a nice American wheat whenever I just want an easy drinker. This one, however, is a bit rough for my tastes. heemer77 (3827), Savannah, Missouri, USA Mar 28, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. The cloudy body was pale yellow with a white head. The aroma was light lemons and mild apples. The taste was wheat bread with some old pears. There was also a hint of bubblegum. An ok wheat. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jul 30, 2006 This is definitely raw, murky and unfiltered in the delivery. Flavor is very light, almost too light, but the flavor is quite satisfying, with some nice lemony acidity.
