Itís Black IPA Friday! Thatís right I said Black IPA Friday. On Tap Now! Road Tar Imperial Black IPA - 8% ABV.
This past October marked Johnís 13th year here at the Tiger so he thought he would celebrate by brewing himself a beer. He wrote the recipe on his anniversary day, brewed it on Halloween, and tapped it on Black Friday. This prodigiously hopped brew sports 13 hop varieties! This beer is so hoppy, it helps repel Zombies! Itís a Lucky 13 brew, through and through. Road Tar Imperial Black IPA is as dark as your thoughts but fear not, no harsh roasted flavors here. We use roasted wheat for its dark color contribution and smooth flavor characteristics.
Effing road construction! You know he hate its. It seems like you canít get anywhere these days without the hassle of detours or road tar. If he has to clean road tar off his car one more time he swears somebody is going to get a curt letter from a staunch character. The good news is it forced him to develop a new beer designed to wash away the road construction blues. But wait, itís also available in growlers to go! Buy one for your friend. And thatís not all! It works remarkably well at removing road tar from the chrome and paint of your favorite ride! Only available for a short time. Get Yours Now!

On tap at Blind Tiger on 12/14/2012. - Pours a dark amber with a nice off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral with coffee and roasted malt. The taste is more malty than the aroma indicates. Very well balanced.

Poured amber in color with a tall creamy off-white head. Caramel malts in the aroma with hint of earthiness. The flavor has the citrus and pine feel backed with moderate malts. Medium body and a creamy texture
