Not a great rye. Light and with a muted spicyness. Medium body with some lingering sweetness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub during last football season. Comes light gold with an average white head. Aroma of malt, florals, and grain. Taste is malt, rye, florals, and some citrus. Just OK.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub in August 2009. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a surprisingly light straw color with a white head. A bit difficult to believe that there would be much rye in this. Nose brings a bit of spice and some mild fruit. Taste has a bit of rhw but is somewhat bland with just a bit of frut accompanying it. Feel is fairly light win spritzy carbonation. Drinks quite well on a hot summer day.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the brewpub. The body was bright and light hay colored with a thin white head. The aroma was rye bread with some bologna. The taste was largely bologna up front with some rye hints. Almonds came through in the finish along with some raw paper. Drinkable, but that is about it.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Some nice rye bread notes in the aroma, with some grassy but floral hop aromas, but the whole thing is just very light and somewhat subdued. A bit of honey in the malt profile. This is just way too light, almost nonexistent, and I have high hopes, but this was disappointing.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On Tap: Very almost ceepily weak looking yellowigh/greenish pastel yellowy golden color. But some carbonation and a head make it not a 1 for appearence. The flavor is hoppy and dry with some definite rye/bread.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The tap poured a clear, light yellow beverage with a small, frothy white head that was mostly diminishing and left fair lacing on the glass. The aroma was light but somewhat complex. There were subdued hop notes of grass and flowers as well as a light doughy yeast aspect in the background. The body was light to medium with a watery texture and soft carbonation. The flavor started off sweet with a light bitter background. As the taste matured, it became more bitter. The finish was average in length.

GABF 2004 Light gold in color with a slight haze and small white head. Faint citrus aroma. Very mild rye character, almost unnoticeable.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Strongly bitter, husky and astringent. Citrus aroma. Reminiscent of many so-called "blond ales" but unbalanced. Light gold color. Probably their worst beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thin, just a little wheat/rye flavor in body. Aroma lacking. I mean there just wasn't much at all. Sticky palate. One of my least favorite BT brews thus far.
