COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a smooth operator. This batch is aged in freshly emptied Wild Turkey barrels. This fine robust porter has been happily bathing in its charred oak barrels for over two months. Hints of vanilla and dark chocolate mingle with notes of caramel and whiskey. Don’t drink whiskey like your dad! Smooth man smooth

On tap at Blind Tiger 12/14/2012. Appearance is a jet-black color with a small tan head. Aroma is boozy with strong whiskey notes, coffee, and roasted malts. Flavor is too boozy and whiskey flavored. Got a little bit better as time went on and the flavors melded together. Not bad.

Pours like any porter w/ a decent light-brown head. Black as night, like motor oil. I wasn’t expecting much after detecting the cliche coffee/roasted malt aroma but I was pleasantly suprised. Upon tasting, more flavors jump out at you like a very darkly roasted. The faint hint of vanilla and whiskey sets it off just right A light creamy chocolate is detectable. Finishes very long with a nicely balanced dryness. Thumbs up
