Cask conditioned at Moreton in Marsh Beer Fest ’10. Amber with white head. Hints of a malty sweetish toffee caramel, maybe some biscuity notes, but just a touch on the bland side.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, malt bitter, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, nutty bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100802]

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough SE1. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Cask@The Market Porter, Southwark. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, bread, wood and some mild herbal notes. Flavour is fruits, mildly herbal as well as quite bready malty.

Cask Handpump at the Market Porter, Borough 02/08/2010 Fruity aroma. Golden coloured and fruity with a hint of bitterness and dryness in a slightly nutty and grainy malt finish.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper with a small white head. Pleasant malt aroma with a hint of toasted brown bread. Sweet malt taste with some earthy sourness and something vaguely starchy. Some bitterness. Interesting beer.

Cask (handpump) at the Market Porter, Southwark on 2 August 2010. Clear amber colour. Slightly creamy head. Traditional style session bitter. Modest peppery hop aroma. Quite earthy flavours. Also some subtle nutty notes. Finishes dry with some malt. Pleasant drinking - a solid example of the style.
