Cask conditioned at Moreton in Marsh Beer Fest ’10. Amber with white head. Hints of a malty sweetish toffee caramel, maybe some biscuity notes, but just a touch on the bland side.

Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, caramel, nutty bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100802]

Cask (handpump) at the Market Porter, Southwark on 2 August 2010. Clear amber colour. Slightly creamy head. Traditional style session bitter. Modest peppery hop aroma. Quite earthy flavours. Also some subtle nutty notes. Finishes dry with some malt. Pleasant drinking - a solid example of the style.
