Cask-conditioned at the Orchard, Bristol 11/10/08. This was sold as "Aardman Animator", the in-house special at a pub which is across the street from the famous animation studio (and close to the SS Great Britain museum). I am not 100% sure whether this is one and the same beer, but the description fits. Deep amber in colour with a decent white head that left plenty of lacing. Some red fruit and caramel on the nose with a whiff of dusty hops. The flavour had plenty of chewy, biscuity malt with a big, lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask Handpump at the Market Porter, London 15/10/2008 Some fruit aroma. Copper coloured smooth on the palate and fruity with a crisp dry and slightly bitter malt finish.

Cask, gravity, at Wellington Arms, Bedford, in the Welly Winter Festival of Ale. Copper amber with a small white head. Hairy malt aroma. Very sweet malty taste with virtually no bitterness and a little sourness.
