COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Free-Style ale. Origianlly brewed in honor of our first big brew at Block 15. We used 7 diffeent malts and three different hops. Also, dry hopped. Some describe as an ESB on steroids, or an old ale with a NW hop bite. We describe it as a damn good beer

sepia with puffy cream head. diacetyl dominate nose, light pumpernickel dusty wheat. Flavor softer, doughy crust up front with light grass and roast mid, darker dense grains, some, tea and toast finish with light residual sugar balancing. Full and coating, lightly chalky, a solid effort once the diacetyl nose blows off.

On tap. Colour...dark orange-amber with a moderately thick head . Nose...quite fruity with a lean towards the citrus side. Palate...deeply malty but then there’s the citrus again. This is a rather interesting ale but not what I would call an "old ale". There’s plenty of malt burn then again there’s the citrus. Hmmmm....hard to peg this one, but a decent ale nonetheless.
