From first wort hopping to dry hopping, this ale is all about the hops. We use Mt. Hood, Cluster, Columbus, and Chinook to create our hop bomb. Wonderful cirtrusy hop aroma, bitterly balanced and dangerously flavorful.

On tap at the brewery, pours light copper, light off white head leaves minimal lacing. Taste had some mild bitterness, oranges and citrus peel, mild resin. Light to medium body.

Tap. A: Semi clear copper with a thin white head. N: Grapefruit, pine, tar, some glue, plenty of earth and damp leaf. Some pineapple underneath and plenty of cracker overall. T: Medium body, slight alcohol burn, resins, crisp carbonation. O: I can see the Sticky Hands pedigree here. Lots of hops but I am missing something. Not sure what though.

Flight pour on tap at the brewpub (Corvallis, OR). Pours a nice deeper amber hue, a firmer haziness here with dulledamber glow out to the edges. Darker and dulled colors, a frothy offwhite head atop dies to a smaller ring, laces similarly. Aromas are a bit of pithy g rapefruit, earth and florals. Jabbed with bitter earth, more subtle tropical notes with a bit of sweeter malt, bread and subtle caramel. Still a hop presence that stands up. Initial is bitter florals and tropical jabs, a bit of gumball, touches of caramel and bitter citrus. More florals, pithy, a bit tropical. A touch sweeter than the Pale with a bit of richer floral bitterness, earth, rind and bitterness. A touch sweeter, that fuzzy bitterness, jabs of caramel, subtle pineapple and bitter earth presses on. A bit more flabby, the carbonation a bit lower and the flow and bitterness not as enjoyable for me. Though the hop flavors to mix well, this one ends up a touch sweeter for me in t he end. Still nice, an intriguing hop profile and something I would drink again. I just found the Pale the superior option.

Keg at the brewpub in Corvalis, 10/11/14. Clear golden amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is juicy hops, pine, orange pith, pink grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, pine, juicy hops, mineral wash, grapefruit, hint of melon and light floral tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with chalky minerals and hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

Poured from tap to glass. Orange hue with fizzy white head that diminished to a ring. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel, orange. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and zesty carbonation. Taste is sweet followed by a strong hop bitterness that dominates through the finish. Overall this is a nice brew.

Growler. Thanks, C! Looks like this might be my 500th IPA rating (again). Sweet! Pours a clear medium gold with a dense and sudsy white head. Big grassy nose, very herbal, super pleasant and much softer than so many PNW IPAs. A little butter lurking in the background, alas, but it comes across as a killer recipe. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Soft caramel and beautiful sweet fresh grass on the mid palate--not pilsner-y, but nicely leaning toward that direction while still an IPA. Crisp light finish.

On tap at the brewery. Clear burnt orange pour with a white head. Citrus and tropical fruit hop aromas. Tasty tropical fruit and citrus hop notes with a nice caramel malt backbone. Good body and mouthfeel.
