Served in a cervoise. Nice dark fruit and fairly-heavy acidity. Touch of chocolate. Thanks, Aaron!

750ml bottle, thanks GT2. Poured a brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma is boozy malts and some light funk notes. Flavor is some roasted malt notes, some dried fruits, some tartness in here most certainly.

pours unclear light brown-reddish with a small light beige cap, little retention, some lacing. nuts, plums, spices, chocolate, bourbon, raisins, acetic, booze. nice woodsy notes. moderate carbonation, light to medium body - oily, earthy-grassy-peppery finish. much enjoyed that stuff!

Bottle - Vinous, oak and the typical players. Rich beige head and cloudy brown. Very oaky, and all flavours mellow to a very nice beer.

Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured deep, brown/mahogany with a little head that faded quickly. Low carbonation, mellow mouthfeel. Nose had dark fruits, bourbon, and toffee, sugary malt. Tasted quite vinous with notes of prune juice. Other dark fruits like dates and cherries. Also oak, bourbon, malt sweetness, clove spice, and vanilla. Finished with hint of acidity and tartness. They nailed it with this one. High hopes it’ll age well.

From a bottle at Dark Lord Day in Munster, ID. Pours light-red with a medium off white head. Light lacing. Nose of raspberry with acidic and oak aroma. Medium plus body. Flavor is a nice tart berry, and the finish is sour. Very good tasting.

25.4 oz bottle. Dark brown with a haze. Nose is caramel, red grapes, bourbon, oak and tart cherry. Slick and oily, juicy with a sour bite. Taste is sour cherry, cinnamon and cranberry that almost becomes too sweet before the bourbon licks in. I liked a good whiskey sour back in the day.

750ml bottle. Thanks to Todd for the opportunity... Pours a deeper mahogany cherry dark pour, somewhat murky, and topped with a thin layer of soapy white head... Aroma of sour cherry and brown ale. Slightly acidic with a touch of earth. Solid sour but nothing extraordinary... Flavors are more of the same with sour cherry earth and a touch at dark grain. Fairly clean with a touch of acidity. Light to medium bodied. With semi-lively carbonation.

Bottle (750 ml). Unlabeled. From AlexFields, thanks! Dark hazy reddish brown with a small to medium beige head, good retention, and some lacing. Aroma is of bourbon, lots of fruits, oak, vanilla, light alcohol and light acetic presence. Taste is moderately sweet with bourbon, red fruits, oak, vanilla, boozy notes, light acetic presence and light caramel. Medium to full body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly acetic and dry mouthfeel. Very good Oud Bruin! Really complex and well balanced despite some boozy presence. Nice barrel treatment. I loved it.
