COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A good example of balance...North West Style. Good malt profile provied by Munich and Vienna malts, perfectly complememted by both Noble and High Alpha hops. Dry-Hopped to provide a perfect amount of hop aroma.

Poured from tap to glass. Deep red hue with creamy tan head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, nutty, slight peppercorn, spicy hops. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet with a moderate hop bitterness following and a clean finish. Overall this is a nice brew. Overall this is a nice brew.

Tap at Block 15. Pours dark brown with red hues, off-white head. Aroma of strong malts, caramel, chocolate, sweet. Taste medium-bodied, low carbonation, a bit thin, watery. Overall, okay.

Growler. Thanks so much, V! What an awesome treat this whole thing turned out to be. Damn. This growler was not even in perfect shape (cap split slightly), and the beer still showed very well. Pours a clear medium amber with a dense and creamy light tan head. Malty, bread-crusty, dry-leafy nose, great toasty malt character with soft herbal hop complements. Creamy medium body with soft carb, must show very well when it’s sparkling fresh (as opposed to this slightly unfortunate growler journey). Toasty, crusty malt on the mid palate, with nice dry leaves and herbal hops playing off it. Nice bready, earthy finish. Wonderful.

On draught at Block 15. Golden amber color. Aroma is tropical fruit and caramelized malts. Taste is grapefruit, orange, spicy dark malt, and pine. Finishes with a good balance of hop bitterness and malty sweetness.

On tap at Baileys. Pours a clear reddish color with a medium white head. The aroma is dusty fruit and caramel. The flavor is a mellow, pretty dry amber, big caramel, some green fruity hops. A big malty beer. Very smooth and easy drinking.

Sweet and fruity nose - almost tropical, notes of caramel, some sugary sweetness is there as well. Really a solid nose for an amber. Pours reddish amber, offwhite head. The flavor is sweet and fruity up front, somewhat tropical, toasty and lightly dry with more residual sweetness in the finish. Lingering pleasant fruity/earthy/almost peppery hop flavor. Nice amber.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a mostly clear dark amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily. Sheet of lacing on the glass. Sweet malt and hops in the nose. Medium body with a flavor that is equally hoppy and malty. The finish is malty up front with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

From a five sampler taster this was the standout beer IMO. Red amber with a one finger off white head, medium lacings. Aroma is caramel malt some floral hops. Taste is bitter hops with a very sweet caramel malt backbone. Quite a hoppy Amber overall and only the 6.5%abv kept me from drinking this all evening. Very nice beer.

On cask at the brewery. Nice red, fruity caramel flavor. Thinner body due to being on cask. The hops balance nicely, mild earthy citrus character. This is a great sessionable brew. I’d like to try the non-cask version sometime to compare.
