COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A good example of balance...North West Style. Good malt profile provied by Munich and Vienna malts, perfectly complememted by both Noble and High Alpha hops. Dry-Hopped to provide a perfect amount of hop aroma.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a mostly clear dark amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily. Sheet of lacing on the glass. Sweet malt and hops in the nose. Medium body with a flavor that is equally hoppy and malty. The finish is malty up front with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sweet and fruity nose - almost tropical, notes of caramel, some sugary sweetness is there as well. Really a solid nose for an amber. Pours reddish amber, offwhite head. The flavor is sweet and fruity up front, somewhat tropical, toasty and lightly dry with more residual sweetness in the finish. Lingering pleasant fruity/earthy/almost peppery hop flavor. Nice amber.

From a five sampler taster this was the standout beer IMO. Red amber with a one finger off white head, medium lacings. Aroma is caramel malt some floral hops. Taste is bitter hops with a very sweet caramel malt backbone. Quite a hoppy Amber overall and only the 6.5%abv kept me from drinking this all evening. Very nice beer.

On cask at the brewery. Nice red, fruity caramel flavor. Thinner body due to being on cask. The hops balance nicely, mild earthy citrus character. This is a great sessionable brew. I’d like to try the non-cask version sometime to compare.

Flavor – The malt and hops balance was very nice the hops gave off a citrus flavor and added nicely.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry citrus finish.
Overall – I liked this beer it was fresh and the citrus from the hops added very well.
