3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
At Marcus’ place in December 2013 for a weekday tick-a-thon. I only wrote down "sticky Hands" so I am not sure if this is the right beer, it is the right time of year though so I think it might be. Pour is cloudy musky orange. Aroma is coriander, earthy hops, soft taste is floral tasty, nice soft smooth hops. 3.4

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(from backlog of RBAG 2013 ratings notes). Bottle, shared by myself (almost got the right person Duff). Orange. Aroma chalk full of hops. The taste is tropical fruits with some pine. Vicious delicious bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(from backlog of RBAG 2013 ratings notes). Bottle, shared by Ferris I believe. Hazy bright orange body, gold-tinted head. Intensely hoppy aroma and palate, more melon and papaya and mango on the nose though. The flavours angle more onward herbal and pine before ending in scathing bitterness. Big and oily body.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Growler, not sure how well it’s held up. Gold/apricot color. White head. Very dank and grassy flavors, spicy and earthy hops. Not nearly as good as the last SH I tried.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750mL shared at Congregation Azusa. Low haze golden pour with thicker white foam. Grassy, herbal, and heavy pine needle nose that moves to some serious celery. Taste is piney, super herbal, with more celery. Very strange for Block 15. Didn’t enjoy this.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared by Drew. Hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Grassy hops, pine, and oranges. Some celery and apple, caramel, and aspirin. The flavor is quite bitter, despite the malt sweetness. Caramel, orange, pine, and celery. Meh.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 Bottle and draft, 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a dark-medium orange amber sort of thing. Good amount of off-white head. Aroma dank resinous, not my thing in the nose. Body medium-lively; finish lingering bitterness and resinous. I applaud what B15 is doing with this series; some of these have been sublime, but this particular issue isn’t my cup of tea.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Fruit hops with tons of mango, smells divine. Cloudy orange with a small creamy white head. Taste is tropical fruits as well, but not very interesting outside of that. The downfall is the harsh bitterness that ruins the tropical fruits.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750mL bottle at Baileys, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus hops, some pine, some tropical fruits, and biscuity malt. Flavour is very pungent, full of strong herbally resinous hops, skunky notes, and a solid biscuity malt backbone. Very strong, abrasive body full of herbally resinous hops. Great stuff, but not the easiest drinking IIPA.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 Bottle... Poured hazy amber/orange with a thick forming eggy, white head. Nice retention and lacing. Nose had earthy, Danky, tangy hops. Similar hop notes came through in the flavor. Citrus and tropical fruits, honeydew melon sweetness with some bready malts. Thick mouthfeel and some bitterness. Earthy and floral towards the finish.
