Poured a black color with aromas of roast, earth, chocolate, light fudge, some bourbon, and a touch of vanilla. Flavors were the same, light chewy uncooked brownie soaked in light bourbon, tasty as hell.

Thanks to Jeremy! 750 ml. bottle sampled. Black little head on the sides. Bourbon, vanilla, oak, dark chocolate nose, thick toffee & bit boozy. Thick boozy bourbon taste, liquorish, bitter herbs, caramel, molasses, lacking a bit some nuances. Thick caramel body. Very nice beer but pales somewhat in comparing to other big USA Bourbon BA RIS.

Pour is jet black with no head at all. Nose is wood, bourbon, cocoa, hint of licorice, black olive. Body is a bit thin especially in the finish, fairly rich malt and cocoa with a decent bit of bourbon. Back has a lot of charred malt and wood and gets a bit acrid. Flavor is much thinner than I thought and body hurts it there as well. Finish is also quite sweet and seems to have a good bit of sugar left over.

Bottle. Dark black pour, with a thin tan head. Big on the chocolate, sugary, lots of wood, bourbon, milk chocolate, and notes of dried dark fruit. Dense, but silky body. Good stuff.

Sample during RBWG, Asheville. Deep brown pour with a thick oily tan head. Big sweet nose. Baked brownie. German chocolate cake. Dark roasted malts. Vanilla bourbon barrel highlights. Similar flavor. Dark chocolate brownie coated in sugar. Roasted nuts and mild hoppy bitterness reign in some of the extreme sweetness. Boozy, but not to a fault. Full, rich and oily. Overall, a real sipper. Very nice.

@zebf 2014 - Aroma of wine, wood and a hint of coconut. Flavour is initially woody and dry. Becomes sweeter with nuts, coconut. Strong alcohol feel in the finish.

Bottle at Bailey’s Taproom, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich bourbon barrels, vanilla and cocoa. Flavour reveals rich bourbon barrels, vanilla and cocoa. Very silky and decadent. Amazing barrel aging job here. Phenomenal beer.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours midnight black with little to no head. The aroma is a luxuriant swirl of brownies, bourbon and vanilla. Full-bodied and silken with gentle carbonation. The flavor nearly duplicates the nose – fudge and bourbon are accompanied by burnt and bitter notes. Finishes chocolaty, boozy and warm all the way down to my belly. Kudos to landhoney for sharing this world class imperial stout!

About time! On tap at Baileys. Pours a pitch black color with a small white head. The aroma is big chocolate, some roast and booze. The flavor leans toward a drier British stout with ash, dark chocolates, a bit of smoke, prunes, vanilla, woody. Light oxidation. Really awesome beer. I need a bottle or two of this. World class.
