This beer is so sickly sweet I was glad I was sampling off another’s beer.

Incredibly, disgustingly sweet. Flowery aroma and its golden appearance are not a put-off, but the honey, brown sugar most definitely are.

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 09/2013)
Deep orange-amber color, small steady off-white creamy head. Fruity Belgian yeasty aroma with hints of coriander. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet, lots of kandi sugar, sweet honeyish notes, then orange peels, yeast and some alcohol in the finish. Lingering sweet herbal aftertaste. Too sweet for my liking.

Bottle 0.33 L. Cloudy dark golden body with an average, creamy, off-white head, mostly lasting with a good lacing; high density of tiny particles. Heavy honey aroma with notes of sugar and maple syrup; malty (biscuit) and hoppy (Sweet flowers) characters are also present. Heavy sweet flavour lightly balanced by an acidic note in the long-lasting finish. Medium body with a creamy texture; lively carbonation. Really a sweet beer, ideal with desserts I’d say, like apple strudel.

Clear amberish cloured beer with large white head and lots of carbonation. Fruity hopped aroma. Full sweet and sparkling palate. Finish is sweet sugar ending sweet slight bitter and dry. Too sweet for me.

Bottle. Light amber, cloudy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sugary sweet aroma, caramel, some tropical fruitiness, faint herbal spiciness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and sugary sweet flavor, some caramel and some fruitiness, faint spiciness and faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty - lightly wheaty and sugary sweet, some fruitiness and caramel, light herbal spiciness and alcohol. Too sweet - really too sweet.

In bottle. Pours a light golden colour with a thin white head. Mead aroma with honey puffs and hibiscus flowers. Similar flavours with caramel, barley and oats. Quite floral overall with very low carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Fairly sweet and malty. Interesting.

bottle at home ... golden ... thin but big cover lacing ... soft sweet suger yeasty nose ... light fizzy ... sweet floral ... juicy ... toffee ... odd ... but i love it ...
