bottle. copper. musky bready malts, not that great on the nose. earthy vibes, violets. body soft almost creamy. sweet flowery nectar. pretty nice palate considering the not-so-nice nose. good belgian strong.

The sweetness in the aroma is quite pleasant but it’s an overwhelmingly sweet tasting beer. The floral, herbal notes in the flavour only make it worse.

Bottle at Cafe De La Gare, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy reddish brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is hugely malty with lots of toffee and caramel. The flavour is rich, malty, fruity, sweet and a touch alcoholic bitter. Nice to taste, but could become a little bland.

Bottle @ Il Bucaniere, Gallarate Italy.

Color: strong clear blond beer with copper reflexion, big white head and no carbonization. Smell: malt, wheat and yeast; not so expressive! Taste: sugar, floral and pear, apple and peach taste, really strange sensation! Very drinkable. Aftertaste: small malt presence, big sugar domination.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A hazy amber brown beer with a sweet red fruity and spicy flavour with creamy caramel on the finish.

09.01.13. Bottle. White foam that settles into an even carpet on the surface. Slightly cloudy yellow/orange color. Aroma is sweet. Tastes super sweet, yuck. Artificial sweetener. Low carbonation. Aftertaste is awful, more sweetener. Overall, terrible beer.
