This beer wouldn't be what it is if it wasn't enriched with flowers and plants.

very surprising taste. Some kind of aerial, bubble-gumish aftertaste which feels weird but is not unpleasant. Probably not the best Belgium has to offer but an interesting finding nevertheless.

Bottled 33cl. Hazy amber. Tall creamy head. Cinnamon and coriander throughout. Slightly medicinal in the nose. Medium to full bodied. Yeast accented. Strong carbonation. Sweet. Residual sugars in the finish which is reminiscent of dandelion and cinnamon. A tad too sweet for my liking perhaps.

Bottle: Pours an amber color with a two finger white head. Aroma is very floral with hints of veggie. Taste is sweet potatoes and some bitter floral in the finish.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Delicate, sweet beer! Lots of floral and herbal subtleties. Aromatic, interesting and light.

In short: An uber-sweet fruity blonde Belgian ale. A gross mess
How: Bottle 330ml. Consumed when probably 1 year of age.
The look: Cloudy ugly dirty muddy blonde body with many particles. Medium off-white head
In long: Sweet nose of fried banana dessert and canned pineapples. Taste is revoltingly exaggeratedly sweet. Taste tastes like a mix of canned fruit juice. It’s like you took some canned pineapples, canned pears, canned others, then your removed all the fruits and mixed the juice left. Add to that banana purée, orange peels and marmalade. I couldn’t get passed half the little bottle. I could use an old cliché and tell you to avoid this beer like the plague. But nowadays the plague is not something we are concerned about. So instead I’ll recommend to avoid this beer like the gonorrhoea.

Pours fizzing, coppery orange with a spotting white slick of foam. Aroma baked beans and Marmite on wholemeal dabbed with honey and ground coriander- perfume and vegetables. Huge, excessively sugared sweetness picking up pine needles, Sugar Puffs..and low calorie baked beans. Cloying and yeasty. Far weirder, far more imbalanced, far more alien to my concept of good beer than the last brew...and that was spiced with garlic. Easy to make a beer feel so full when it’s so full of....sugar. The sweetness is like full sugar soda, and makes this a drainpour for me. If you can’t drink it, what’s the point? Nice paper wrapper, though...

Bought at Drankenhandel Geers. Definitely special amber beer with easily recognizable floral aroma and taste, quite sweet. You couldn’t mistake this for anything else than a flower beer, both in aromas and in taste. My companions tonight were even more enthusiastic than me, so a good recommendation for fans of sweeter, flowery beers.
