4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 sebletitje (4011) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 29, 2009
33cl bottle from Délices et Caprices.
I thought Bkink: bloesem was a nice example of honey beer, this one is just even better.
pours hazy golden, thick white head.
aroma is floral with a thick honey nose that is just sweet and enjoyable.
taste, honey, and a lot of honey adding to a nice sweet palate that becomes almost sticky.
smooth, borderline mead like with some floral hops.
I am getting a lot of natural touch here that just give the palate the impression the honey was just collected.

33cl bottle at A tutta birra, Milano. Pours gold-orange with white foamy head. Sugar and fruity aroma. Sweet honey-taste. To me, the sweetness does not ruin the pleasantness of enjoying this nice beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Slayer85 (862) - Firenze, ITALY - MAY 24, 2009
Bottle. A hazy dark golden beer with a medium sized and quite persistent white head. The aroma ha s aquite good maltiuness and some hops with notes of flowers and some spices and fruits. The flavour is highly sweet with light acidity. Not totally balanced and a bit cloying after some sips, but it has some decent flowery notes. Medium body. lively carbonation, quite long sweet finish with light bitterness. Too sweet for my liking, but drinkable.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bontus (481) - Waasmunster, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2009
Pours orange with a foamy head and a hazy yeast contribution.
Immediate blossom honey like aroma. Pears, peaches, banana, very subtle sweet fruity esters. Some herbal aftertaste to it, slightly bitter. It quickly becomes sticky alcohol warming.
Rather sweet, not balanced enough to be truly enjoyable.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 yngwie (8717) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2009
Bottle, thx to OleR. It pours a hazy, golden body with a nice, fingerthick off-white head. Lacings. Apricot, white sugar-sweetness and some earthy notes in the aroma. The flavor is sweet, white sugar-sweet, with apricot and other fruits. Some citrus and a herbal touch. Lacks on bitterness. Nicely carbonated. Long, sweet and fruity finish. Apricots in syrup comes to mind. Some bitterness rounds it off. Too sweet for my likings, and a bit strange too. (090313
