Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 31, 2007 Bottled. A dark golden beer with a slight haze under a huge orange-yellow head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of malt, yeast, and spices. The flavor is lovely sweet - not too much - not too little, with strong notes of malt, yeast, caramel, flowers, and spices - among them coriander and cinnnamon. The alcohol tickles the tongue slightly in the aftertaste. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 1, 2002 The unlabelled bottle comes wrapped in paper. Pours copper coloured, and sports a creamy, dense head. The aroma is very fruity and somewhat flowery. It is full bodied and dominated by a sweet mango flavour and candyish tofee. It has rich, thick mouthfeel and a lingering sweet mango finish. It is an excellent ale when sampled in small amounts, although a full bottle gets almost cloying. Papsoe (10510), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 30, 2005 Updated: Jun 10, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) The good people at "Belgisk Bryg", Lars and Gert, warned me: "This is insanely sweet", they said. And even by Belgian standards, they are SO right. Fully golden, slightly hazy beer with a tall, creamy head. Obvious ale-character, but actually I don’t taste a lot besides the sticky sweetness. Apparently brewed with flowers and plants, but it can’t be the only sources for the sweetness. 090704 yespr (6944), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 11, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge light creamy white head. Mild yeasty and floral aroma. Flavour is sweet fruity with a mild and mellow yeasty note. Lingering light sweet finish with a light fruity note in addition. Quite sweet actually but is somehow works okay here. Well composed and refreshing. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 8, 2005 Bottled.
