Bottle. Light amber, cloudy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sugary sweet aroma, caramel, some tropical fruitiness, faint herbal spiciness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and sugary sweet flavor, some caramel and some fruitiness, faint spiciness and faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty - lightly wheaty and sugary sweet, some fruitiness and caramel, light herbal spiciness and alcohol. Too sweet - really too sweet.

Thanks to my wife for bringing this beer back from Belgium. Pours an apricot gold color with a 1/2 finger creamy head. Nose of sweet floral aromas, fruits, spices, hops and grains. Flavor is wonderfully sweet malts with flowers, ginger, bready malts, raisins and quite a bit of candy sugar...a lot going on. Real rich and creamy with a sweet lingering finish. Becomes almost like a really sweet tea as you drink it.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2011 Bottle, thanks to Jeffery. Tasted at his home. This one was way better then I expected. Got story’s like ’a beer with flowers", and I allready was expecting something that was not my kind of beer, maybe even hard to call it a beer. But when I got this beer into a glass, it started pretty good. The colour was golden, a bit orange, a big white head, that holds for a good time. Aroma’s that came out of the glass, surprised me in a good way. Fruit, a bit earthy-sour, I even think to smell a very little of the flowers, and spices. Soft, fruity, lightly sweet, but nothing overdone, good balanced, but maybe just a bit to watery taste. Citrus and spices, apple, good taste.A surprise for me.

A nice slightly cloudy golden to amder body with bubbly big head that quickly evaporates. Light sweet aroma with pineapple, cereal, apricot and a tiny bit woody. First sip is amazingly sweet - not very nice although not artificial either. Later sips are better but still very sweet and a not-so-nice dry sandy flavour stays in the back. Undercarbonated for me, too. Very poor beer - or is it just my taste? (33cl bottle)

From backlog @ Biercentral

Head: foamy, off white, large
Colur: ambery gold, bit hazy
Smell: honey, sweet, flowers, booze, sweet corn, malts
Taste: along the line of the aroma, i quite like this one actually sweet but not too sweet with a typical belgian malt flavour and yeastyness for the bitterness level , bit boozey tough ...

bottle@bar: very unusual beer, orange coloured with fluffy white head, sweet with honey, caramel, yeast, spices & flowers, dandelions, chrysanthemums,… mixed with hops, yep, this one actually does taste like sweet flowers, especially in the aftertaste

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Bottle from uto. I swear that I rated this in summer ’05, but nevermind. Originally purchased for the paper alone. Clear amber with a creamy white head. Nose of banana, caramel, orange, spice and apples. Sweet, floral taste (is this what tulips taste like?) with oats, banana, spice and a hint of liquorice. Smooth, syrupy body. Although sweet, not sickly. I’d have it again.
