COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is one very smooth IPA. Beautiful copper color and brilliantly clear, it’s been tank aged since December. Delicious malty sweetness is perfectly balanced by Cascade and Nugget hops, lightly carbonated to be extra smooth on your tongue. This is a small batch beer and we only have about 7 barrels so enjoy it while you can. Go easy, it’s 8.1% alcohol by volume. Welcome Spring!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear, copper colored body with a finger-width, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is light florals with some citrus pines and a touch of earth. Light amount of sweeter caramels. Flavor is a bit better. Sweeter floral hops with some pines as well. Citrusy with a light earth too. Sweet caramels to balance with a bit of a residual sweetness in the finish with a moderate bitterness that leaves a medium length aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Overall, an alright IPA. Nothing special, but drinkable and enjoyable with the meal.

On cask at Lennie’s restaurant. Pours a deep copper with a small white head. Very nice aroma strong in hoppy pine, floral, and citrus notes. Flavor is somewhat sweet led more by citrus hops along with the still-present floral and pine, very smooth (or silky as the name implies), a bit more fruitiness like strawberry. Decent but not strong bitterness. Pretty nice.

Draught. Beautiful copper pour with a short, clingy head. Nose is mildly hoppy, light malt, perhaps faint apples. Taste is sweet, very sweet, but mouthfeel is lovely, silken indeed! Creamy mouthfeel, low bitterness, some hops oils. Too sweet!
