IBGF 2009: Nice golden hue with a good frothy white head and sticky lace. The aroma has notes of bubblegum and mango, resiny and grassy hops, bready malts and a touch of clove. The taste is piney and fruity with a bit of a metallic astringent finish. Pale malt background is found throughout. The mouth feel is crisp and lively with a bit of a chalky finish, refreshing. A good brew overall that i would have again if in Bloomington.

Draft sample at IBGF Summer 2009. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop, fruity and small malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

A nice IPA, but one I would get overly excited about. Had this after the Weiss, and it just didnt hold up. I might have expected too much, as I am usually a big fan of Bloomington Brewing and what they do. Notes of hops in the aroma and flavor, some hints of grass and tobacco and yeast. Just didn’t do much for me. Not a bad beer at all, just not too exciting.
