Jan 23, 2005 Clear copper body with beige head. Aroma is very mild, just a bit of caramel. Taste is medium sweet, nutty, some chocolate, light caramel, minimal bitterness. Smooth, light-medium body.

Aug 17, 2003 Brown hue with minimum head and some lacing. Aroma hints of cherry, wood, roasted malt, nutty, and herbs. Malty and nutty tasting with a tart fruity balance. Some spices and hebs detected. Bitter finish. Thin to medium-bodied, creamy and soft mouthfeel. A bit "papery" cardboard aftertaste feel. A good beer, thinner than I would have liked, but quaffable. Nice with their Chili.

Jun 1, 2003 Updated: Jun 4, 2003This brew poured a nice amber colored body with a small light brown head of fine to medium sized bubbles. IT has a mild malt aroma and a smooth slight caramel flavor with a tingling mouth feel in the aftertaste. The glass retained a nice lacing as it was tilted.

Jun 1, 2003 Poured a medium head with fine-small bubbles. The body was amber color. There was good lacing on the sides of my glass and this brew had a smooth taste to it.

Jun 9, 2001 Updated: This beer has come along way and is no longer the thin watery mess it was. They describe it as their maltiest brew, but thats not really correct. It does have a slight buttery maltiness but it is also loaded with spicy hop flavor that makes this a good choice.
