A very sweet ale. There is some good malt to it, a bit of citrus hops, bis but overall itís a cloying sweetness here. I wouldnít seek this one out really.

On draught at the High Country Beer Fest, it pours a copper-amber into the glass, with a nice eggshell head. The nose has some citrus, roasts and floral notes. The flavors are of roasted caramel malt, some muddy citrus, and dry-hopping to close the finish. The texture is mild, with crisp carbonation levels and a medium body. Average APA... it wonít set the world on fire, and I donít know if Iíd really seek it out again.

This copper ale poured with a decent off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a hearty roasted malt flavor with a bit of carbonation and hop bitterness. A mediocre pale ale, but itís drinkable.

Bottle from a local Grocery Outlet store. Pours copper with not much white head. Aromas of lightly roasted malt and some fruity/citrus hop. Medium body with sharpish carbonation. Flavor is light roast caramel, and a fair amount of spice - like grassy/citrus hop. Nicely bitter. Spicey enough to make it enjoyable. Finishes with a touch of light fruit. Better than a number of Lion Brewery productions.

Pours a translucent pale amber with a one finger offwhite head. The nose is earthy, English feel, mild sweetness, bready, buttery/diacetyl. The flavor is mildly crisp, sweet and malty, caramel, hidden hop character. Sweet mildly crisp palate.

Oh, bow, something is wrong here. Sampled on draught at World Beer Fest in Raleigh. Light amber/gold pour with thin head. Butter/diacetyl on the nose. Gross. Aubreya called it well when she said "tastes like a penny farted!" Yikes!
