3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit and a little pine. Taste was lighter than I expected but followed through with the aroma.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle; poured a lowing orange amber with a lot of carbonation streams. Aroma of toast, orange/citrus and caramel; touch of sweetness. Flavor was robust, but a bit lacking in quality. Earthy with some sweetness and caramel. A bit messy, but palate was enjoyable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber pour with minimal white head. Boozy, musty, ripe banana aroma. Carbonation is intense, drying mouthfeel. Some caramel undertones. Strikes me as more of a bipa, but they call it an american ipa so I will rate as such.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale golden coloured body with a tiny, white head. Aroma of very light hop pellet notes with some very mild malt and pretty much nothing at all. Light-bodied; Sharp hops up front fade to a cardboardie malt, some very light sugars and seemingly nothing worthwhile. Aftertaste shows some more of the hops, a hint of the earthy and mild malt and no sugars nor alcohol to speak of, just some light herbal flavours. Overall, a pretty bad IPA - with not much hop bitterness at all and more cardboard notes than anything else. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle from a beer sampler pack on 01-March-2013 at a friendís house in Odenton, Maryland.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
This is truly a terrible beer. A disgusting malt tang with messy hops. I honestly canít believe they allowed this to be bottled and sold.
Only positive- a pretty orange. Very thin head though.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a small off-white head. Nose is fairly hoppy with some floral notes to it. Taste has some nice bitterness to it, but it has just a hint of a muddled unclean flavor. OK.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Now this is what an IPA should be about. A bold and biter taste that takes a hold of you and demands your attention. The hops come out in full flavor and I love it. I would definitely recommend this beer.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Similar to the high country ale. A bit more bite, but somehow more palatable. Pine, grapefruit, hops, vinegar.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle. copper with big two finger head. seems like more of a hoppy amber than an IPA. sweet and fruity, a bit too much so, in my opinion. thereís quite a bit of flavor here, but itís just off.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 12 oz at total wines & more. Pours cloudy dark orange amber with a decent beigish head . Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, bisquity, citric, piny and toasted. Flavor is sweet citric and piny at start, more malts and bitterness plus some fruityness from middle to end with an odd perfumic tone all the way. Finishes a bit pungent and quite bitter. Maybe a bit too watery, makes the flavors to become medium.
