Shared by turdferguson. Looks like they forgot the Pale in IPA. Coppery amber pour with a weak off white head. Nose is *shudder* no bueno. Smells like an Amber Ale that didn’t go so well. Caramel malts and herbal hops. Bready with some toasted grain. Ehh. IPA super easy to make, IPA super hard to make well.

Bottle. Amber with a sudsy off white head. Nose is sweet and grainy, light grassy hops. Flavor is awrful, lots of cardboard, roasty, dirty bitterness. No hop flavor and malt is spoiled. I love Blowing Rock, NC but this beer is horrible.

Overripe orange, pineapple, grass nose, quite strong. Cloudy ochre, medium yellow head, nice lace. Less intense flavor of overripe oranges, with a strange chemical aspect.. Frothy and watery mouthfeel. Well balanced, but something isn’t quite right.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a huge two finger head. Head retention is excellent as is lacing. Aroma of piny hops along with some citrus. There is also a slight scent of roasted malt that comes through. Flavor is a combination of piney and citrus hops. There is almost a Belgian banana flavor throughout which is a bit odd. Not so much roasted malt in the flavor as there was in the aroma but some caramel malt is present. There is a nice hop bite and the beer finished fairly clean. Overall a decent IPA but not a favorite of mine. I just don’t really care for the yeastiness.

12 ounce bottle from Lowes Foods in Hickory, NC. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized frothy copper colored head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bitter floral hops with some resiny notes. The taste is floral, peppery and resiny hops. Some malty notes. Medium bodied. Creamy texture. Nice beer.

Bottle at John’s house. Pours amber. Tan/off white head. Nose and taste of sweet malt, caramel and a sprinkling of hops. Ever so slight pine notes. Mostly malty finish. Average body.

This is not a particularly fine beer. In fact, I was just telling Argo0 that though its not a wretched beer, this day and time, there is no reason on earth to brew something this mediocre.
