Pours a transparent copper/amber with a .5cm white head which quickly dissipates. Nose is overbearingly of blueberries without uch else. Start through finish is way overpowered by blueberry. The Blueberry flavor is pleasant, but it seriously could be a soft drink rather than a beer. way too one dimensional, although it is not an unpleasant beer. Palate is quite thin and watery.

3/15/11. 12oz bottle courtesy cbfobes. Hazy purple pour like blueberry juice poured into OJ with a small purplish head that fades fast. Very light aroma of fruit and soft wheat with a similarly light flavor of almost nothing. This is nothing... with a dash of blueberry. Weird.

On tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, pours a hazy dark amber with a nice white head, nose is of sweet malt and a hint of blueberry, flavor has a some funk mixed in with a processed blueberry finish, I really didn’t enjoy this all that much.

Poured a nice dark amber with light head that faded to lace fairly quickly. A slighly sweet aroma with a malty base and berry-like surroundings. Taste started out as mainly malt and then finished with an interesting light berry and hop interlude. Mouth feel was decent. Overall a nice brew with just the right amount of blueberry - you can taste it but it does not overwhelm. Definitely a possible repeat.

Wellllll, gosh, not quite sure what to say. On one hand, the aroma and flavor have pretty decent true blueberry characteristics and is not cloyingly sweet. On the other hand it’s a little thin and shallow in all the other beer qualities. Poured with a nice fine light tan to off white head that mostly faded and no lace. Color is a clear medium amber. Can smell the blueberry as soon as bottle is cracked. Other than that some malt. Flavor’s about the same. Body is thin and carbonation is ok. Finish is blueberry ok. Not really a session for me, but maybe for someone.

12oz bottle. Amber peach color, pretty transparent. Respectable average head. Sweet blueberry aroma. A touch of bitterness upfront leads to a solid sweet blueberry taste. The mild amber malt tones give it a touch of depth, but overall a pretty straightforward venture. Nothing to write home about and nothing to whine about, it is what it is.

Thin head of varying sized bubbles. Light blueberry aroma with some roasted grains and dirty diapers. Hmmm, not what I would want in an aroma. Color is a orangish brown. More blueberry flavor along with some light roasted grains and an abundance of sweetness. Sickly sweet. Finishes sweet and sticky with lingering fruityness. Not a very good brew.

Yuck. Ok that is a bit strong, but close. As far as I can tell, a blueberry beer just has to have some sweetness. This tastes like what carbonated, unsweetened water tastes like. I tend to like Blueberry ales and so was a bit surprised by this.

12 oz bottle from three cellars (franklin, wi). Part of my girlfriend’s haul of singles. Pours a dark hazed amber with moderate tannish head that dissipates to a decent amount and laces a bit. Aromas are straight blueberry muffins. Light cakey sweetness mixed with blueberries. Initial is a lot lighter in the blueberry department, subtle blueberry that sticks to the aftertaste, tannins, light grainy sweet malty sweetness. Not a lot of bitterness, but a touch of tartness on the blueberry. A display of the fruit (which is natural and not overbearing), rather than the beer. Decent. Wins points for no artificial sugary sweetness but loses them for unassertive malt and a touch of watery feel.

Hazy, sickly copper with a light yellowish tan head. The smell reminds me of blueberry pancakes with some dandelions. The taste is like eating raw grain with just a hint of blueberry flavor. There is a toasted bread character that is kind of pleasing, but it doesn’t match well with the extra carbonation and overall super dry taste. It’s ok, but barely even a fruit beer.

Bottle. Somewhat hazy orange yellow color, a few chunks of sediment floating around. Flavor is light malt, some wheat. Blueberry flavor is completely mild, adds just a hint of fruit. Somewhat grainy on the palate. Light bodied. Dry finish.
