This is a golden colored ale with a thick white head, and a slightly spiced aroma. The taste wasn't like any beer I'd had before. It had elements of lemon and cinnamon in it, but there are other tastes that I can't put a name to. I did find them to be very pleasant though. It was very easy drinking as well. I'd expected this to be nothing more than a gimmick beer, but I was impressed with the taste, and will look for it again.

The ginseng is the most noticeable feature of the taste, along with the slight sourness - it really jumps out at you, but not in a harsh way. Some mild herbal notes, but they're list in the ginseng and the malt. Almost forgot to mention the nice aroma - citrusy. All in all, I could see some people getting into this. It's moderately complex and shouldn't be routinely dissed just because it's an "herbal ale."

Copper/amber hue. Small sticky beige head. Very floral, herbal, honey-ish nose. Herbal up front, ginseng is definately evident, light body, with a grassy, hay, herb finish. Herbal tea like. Not terrible, but nothing spectacular here. But, I can dig a infused craft made beer. Double Bastard with viagra infusion? I still dont get the whole speedball market. Why drink beer/alcohol if you want energy? Whats this world coming to?

Smooth palate, full of tiny bubbles. Very malty with thin sweetness up front and down the center. Spicey aroma. Some of the flavors reminded me of herbal tea - well, obviously since there's ginseng, etc. in it. I liked this.

Had to try it. Clear deep amber color. Soapy head and lace. Interesting nose, shit in there I never smelled. Earthy, herbal, malty and spicey are the best I can come up with. thinnish body, toasty malt, lots of herbalness:), grassy and a hint of bitterness in the finish. This is not bad, more of a marketing ploy but not a bad way to go. One of these a day has to be benificial. Worth a shot.

Amber color small white head that didn't last long. Smell i can't quite describe. Malty and grassy taste kind of medicinal. A unique beer.

Amber tint to a golden colour. Small amount of head which died down very quickly. Very large bubbles rising from the bottom and sides of the glass at a dizzying pace. A normal smelling ale with hints of malt and a little hops. Taste is a bit malty and a tad hoppy at the end. I don't taste the herbal qualities much, perhaps a little bit. If you threw this side by side with a Sam Adams Boston Lager, I probably couldn't tell the difference. Not a bad beer though.

poured a hazy orangish-amber color with a small head..aroma had sour tones to it and spit forth wispers of honey sweetness, lemon, dried spices, and must..hinting at lemon coughdrops at times...light and refreshing flavors start out showing signs of honey, lemon, flowers, and herbs..but a grainy ending takes away from the smoothness..ending in a wheatbread-like aftertaste...

Dark bright golden/orange color - very little head. The nose is very fruity with some light hops, sweet and slightly organic. Lightly tart at the front. Light sweetness and a roasty hoppiness in the middle. Slightly tart throughout, saves it a bit, quite fruity. I have no idea what any of those herbs taste like, so its hit or miss really.
