Cask@St Albans BF 06. I found this to be slightly yeasty, with notes of citrus and orange. Mouthfeel is soft and lightly sticky. Not too bad.

Cask @ Edgar Wallace, Temple, London WC2. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with hints of hops. Fruity malty hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with pear and chardonnay notes, and a grassy touch. Dry an hoppy flavour with fruity notes

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale honey malt, bit wheaty, some banana even, easy drinking balanced stuff.

Cask. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, fruityness, sweet malts, mild cooked vegetables as well as some herbal notes. Flavour is sweet malts and fruity as well as some floral hops. Mild wooden notes lurking.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. (300708)

Dark straw in colour with a very short foamy head. Not very scented just a hint of oranges and sugar. Slightly thin, slightly fizzy. Quite dry. Malty earthiness and some spice with an overriding bitterness. Nice.

Cask conditioned at The Bridge, Kentchurch, Hereford. Pale gold with slight head. A buttery, caramel flavour predominates the beer with a hoppy sweetness. Some yeasty notes on a short finish. It’s ok.

Cask (gravity dispense) at St Albans Beer Festival, September 2006. Amber colour, with a slight haze. Very subtle grassy notes on the aroma. Otherwise, it’s a fairly middle of the road supping bitter, with nothing really distinctive.
