Half pint, cask in perfect condition, served at a fine drinking temperature and drunk upstairs at The Market Porter, London Bridge. Light sunset in body colour with a slight haze and a shinning surface. Floral aroma with discreet notes of hop resin. Has got a taste of earthy malts mixed with ripe dried fruits. Smooth bitter endnotes. Dry in the mouth. A quite decent start to a drinking week in London (01.08.2009).

Cask conditioned at The Black Horse, Leominster, Hereford. Gold with white head. A beer that is slightly tart and acidic, maybe a little overkept. Some strawberry in the flavour, certainly fruity, but a little off putting.
