Cask @ The Rutland Arms, Sheffield. The pour’s deep brown with a tiny khaki head. The aroma’s roasted nuts, a bit of raisin, chocolate syrup. Nice earthy roastiness to cut the sweetness. The taste is similar. A bit of bitter dark chocolate. Light roasted malts. Hints of sweet dark fruits. Smooth, easy-drinking stuff. Overall, not bad.
