Bottle conditioned, from Westcliffe Co-op, Scunthorpe. Hazy copper gold, thin but lasting white head and low condition. Vague burnt toffee notes in the aroma, initially dry and nutty in the mouth with some traces of caramel before becoming bitter and dry in the finish

Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Copper colour. Caramelly and estery with bubblegum and roasty malt. Medium sweet and medium bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel and low bitterness. Very peculiar with it’s bubblegum esters, but also very likable.

StueyD (661) - Heacham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2007
An amber orange coloured beer with a weak head. A hoppy nose, zesty and a little grassy. The taste is dry, bitter, good dry hoppy flavour, citrusy, a little grassy again, but all balanced by an underlying malt flavour. The finish is dry. (Cask - 2007 Peterborough Beer Festival).
