Can poured a hazy orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of bread, lemon zest, grapefruit zest, light earthiness and light grassiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness, grapefruit zest and light lemon zest with a smooth dry moderatly bitter lingering citrus finish.

In terms of what Iíve tried, this is one of Blue Bloodís better ales. This beerís strongest feature is its aroma. The scent is light but itís lovely. Floral freshness and tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, and peach shine through the sweet malt tones. The appearance is unexciting but the lacing is quite nice. I do wish this aleís taste was as complex as the aroma. As is, thereís a lot of sweet malt with some citrusy hop character mingling in there. Itís a decent taste really, but the aroma hints at something a lot better. Basically, this beer is the equivalent of a cocktease but for your palate - lots of titillation with little payoff. Oh well, this is still a good starter IPA for people that may not like them. Donít expect it to impress bona fide hopheads, though.

Can courtesy of TheHoff43: Even blend of caramel and pine aroma. Murky ochre, chunks, medium yellow head, lacy. Resinous, biting pine hop flavor that transforms to grapefruit peel. Quite bitter. Full body. Drinks like an IIPA.

Can. Pours a dark, hazy orange with white head. Aroma is hops, flavor is maltier than a typical IPA.

IPA Glass. Cloudy copper with a fizzy head, good lacing. Really sweet smell of hops, pine. Pretty good IPA, nice hops taste, ends a bit sticky.

The aroma of this beer is reminiscent of caramel malts as well as resin and earthy hops, and the appearance is a cloudy orangeish brown color with a medium off-white head and large-grain sediment (hop pellet remnants). The taste is quite bitter and slightly sour, and the palate combines a medium body, average carbonation, sticky texture, and an astringent and bitter finish.
