Dark red in color. Next to no head at all. Light malt aroma, slightly cereally. Mildly fruity, pumpernickel bread flavor. Decent carbonation level, but a tad thin. Sour grainy finish.

Very dark for a brown ale; deep tan head. There’s a lot of malt up front but it never quite comes together. There’s hints of chocolate and licorice in it but it stays two dimensional. A thin body to it and a very thin flavor at the end--seems like potential up front but fizzles out altogether.

Red color with no head. It had a light grainy taste and a little heavier in the after taste. Not much taste in this one.
