COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In celebration of American Beer Month, the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild presents the third annual ReplicAle, the same beer recipe brewed by (nearly) all fifteen member breweries. This year's ReplicAle is Imperial IPA. Bigger, bolder, stronger and with more hop character than your standard IPA, it's a hop lover's dream!

High malt component, but nicely balanced by the bitter hop blast of flavors, mainly pine resins. Pretty refreshing!

not much aroma. a cloudy apricot color. hoppy, piney flavor. nicely bitter. a rib-sticking beer.

Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JUL 31, 2005

ICBG Summer BrewFest: Orange and oily in body with a bubbly white head, this was the maltiest of the IIPAs at the festival. The caramel/toffee flavor was fairly well balanced, reminding me of a "straight" IPA, but it was indeed a bit more intense on both sides of the equation The resinous hop bitterness seemed slightly muted in the finish.
