Dark brown with a nice light tan head. Roasted malt tone and brown sugar aroma. Malt and hop flavor, somewhat harsh on the tongue from the grassy and spicy notes. A standard beer.

Apr 10, 2004 tap at brewpub-Mromero548 and I met eye to eye on this brew-pretty standard brown ale with mild malt aroma. some good nutty notes on the flavors of peanuts and cashews. earthy hops on the finish. fairly solid brown

Apr 10, 2004 Poured cola brown with a thin head. Light chocolate and coffee notes and mild hoppiness. Light fruit aroma- grapes and apples. Decent brew.

Sep 5, 2003 Reddish-brown body and a malty, caramel-candy aroma. A chalky, sweet palate. Considerably sweet, even for a brown. This is candy-beer and not really my thing.
